2024-2025

Center Stage: A Showcase

Our 5th and 6th Grade Drama Class Showcases featured a variety of scenes, monologues, and musical numbers performed by our talented students. Students selected pieces from popular plays and musicals. This event provided the younger students an opportunity to take "Center Stage" - some for the first time! 

2023 - 2024

Matilda Jr by Dennis Kelly (musical)

Matilda JR is a stage musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved novel, specifically designed for younger performers. Written by Dennis Kelly, the show is a condensed and imaginative retelling of the original story, focusing on the themes of childhood imagination, rebellion, and empowerment.

2022 - 2023

Check Please by Jonatahn Rand (play)

Check Please is a hilarious and relatable one-act play written by Jonathan Rand. The play revolves around a series of blind dinner dates that initially seem disastrous, but ultimately take a turn for the unexpected. The characters’ dates are filled with awkward encounters, including a kleptomaniac, a grandmother’s bridge partner, and a mime.

2022 - 2023

The Dining Room by AR Gurney (play)

The Dining Room is a play by American playwright A.R. Gurney, first produced Off-Broadway in 1981. It is a comedy of manners that takes place in a single dining room, where 18 scenes from different households overlap and intertwine. The play focuses on various WASP (White-Anglo-Saxon Protestant) families from different time periods, each possessing the same dining room furniture set, manufactured in 1898.
