Belle Isle Middle School

Belle Isle Enterprise Middle School, established in 1998, operates with the core belief that education can address social challenges, that teachers are dedicated to enhancing their skills, and that students are eager to learn. The school upholds a culture of mutual respect, high expectations, and accountability through an honor code, all while following a philosophy of continuous improvement. This commitment to excellence has earned Belle Isle national recognition as an NCLB Blue Ribbon School and as one of the state's Best Practices Schools. We are a Lighthouse Certified School, following a leadership based curriculum. The school serves grades 5-8 across two campuses in Oklahoma City.

Dedicated to the unique developmental needs of early adolescents, the teachers collaborate to ensure every student's success. All students engage in accelerated instruction in core subjects, and those in grades 7 and 8 are required to study foreign languages. Beyond academics, the school offers an extensive range of fine arts programs, including orchestra, band, choir, visual arts, theatre, newspaper, journalism, and leadership courses.

The Odyssey Program further enriches the student experience by providing 30-minute classes three times a week for both remediation and enrichment. This initiative allows students to explore diverse interests such as dance, team sports, Lego building, and much more, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
